Hydraulics: Split system with
priority flow to steering. In-line filter
with 'spin-off' cartridge element for
ease of servicing.
Steering: Power steering priority
through a valve in the pump. Steering
ram location allows maximum articulation.
Axles: Heavy duty axles.
Brakes: Fully enclosed oil immersed
disc brakes acting on all four wheels,
with a split front and rear system provided
by two master cylinders.
Tyres: Open tread traction tyres
fitted all round.
Skip: Heavy duty high strength
skip.
Safety features: Supplied with
factory fitted ROPS frame. Grab rails
ensure operator mounts.dismounts from
behind the rear wheels.

Large
anti-slip surfaces on walkways give good footholds.
Skip safety supports fitted to support skip in raised
position whilst servicing or replacing rams.
Operator
position: Good all round vision from the fully
upholstered suspension seat. Fitted with seat
belt. All controls are ergonomically placed to
allow comfortable operation.
Options: FOPS (Falling object protective
structure). Lighting Kit. Work Lights. Flashing
amber beacon
Access: All service checkpoints accessible
from ground level.

only
Gearbox & clutch: Heavy duty, constant
mesh gearbox with three forward and one reverse
gears driving through a single, dry plate 9"
clutch. Gear lever protected by neutral interlock.
Transfer box: Heavy duty, duplex chain
drive transfer box coupled by universal drive
shafts to the front and rear axles.
Electrics: Audible start up alarm fitted.
Lockable battery cover. Isolator fitted to battery
negative terminal. Audible alarm fitted to warn
engine overheating. Starter inhibitor switch prevents
start-up unless clutch pedal depressed. Hourmeter
fitted.
Fuel & Hydraulic tanks: Large capacity
lockable fuel and hydraulic tanks. Filler caps
protected by lockable engine cover to prevent
unauthorised access.
4S5000RS
only
Engine: Perkins water cooled 1004-4 naturally
aspirated diesel engine provides a good power
to weight ration coupled with low noise levels.
Fitted with thermostat to aid cold weather starting.
Transmission: Compact four speed power
shuttle transmission allows maximum utilisation
of power in both forward and reverse gears.
Transfer box: Gear driven, heavy duty,
incorporating independent fully enclosed disc
parking brakes.
Electrics: Audible start-up alarm. Lockable
battery cover. Isolator fitted to battery negative
terinal. Inhibitor prevents start-up unless neutral
is engaged. Hourmeter, reverse alarm and 'din'
socket fitted.
Fuel & hydraulic tanks: Large capacity
tanks are integral with the machine's wings to
reduce risk of accidental damage.
Options: ROPS/FOPS heated cab.
