Information for the 4S2000,
4S2500 & 4S3000
'S' Series 4 Wheel Drive Dumper
Fuel
& hydraulic tanks:
Large capacity lockable fuel
and hydraulic tanks. Filler
points protected by lockable
engine cover to prevent unauthorised
access.
Hydraulics:
Split system with priority flow
to steering. The gear driven
pump is protected by an in-line
tank strainer and a return line
'spin-off' cartridge filter
which incorporates a blocked
filter indicator.
Steering:
Power steering priority through
a valve in the pump. Steering
ram location allows maximum
chassis articulation.
Tyres:
Open tread traction tyres fitted
front and rear for maximum traction.
Engine:
All engines are Yanmar. Electric
strarting is standard on all
machines.
4S2000 & 4S2500 - 3TNE82A,
three cylinder, water cooled
20.3kw (27.2bhp) @ 2750 rpm.
4S3000 - 4TNE88, four cylinder,
water cooled 33.5kw (44.89bhp)
@ 2750 rpm.

Centre
Pivot design gives class leading manoeuvrability

Clutch
& gearbox:
Heavy duty constant mesh gearbox with three forward
and one reverse gears driving through a single
dry plate 9" clutch. Gear lever protected
by neutral lock.
Transfer
box: Heavy duty, duplex chain drive transfer
box coupled via universal drive shafts to the
front and rear axles.
Skip:
Skip safety supports fitted to support skip in
raised position. Heavy duty skip made from 5mm
plate. Designed to give high strength and eliminate
material traps.
Axles
& brakes: Heavy duty axles with fully
floating halfshafts. Hydraulically operated, totally
sealed oil immersed multi-plate disc brakes. The
rear axle of the 4S2000 and 4S2500 are not fitted
with brakes as standard. However, a braked rear
axle is offered as a factory fitted option. The
parking brake is a hand operated disc brake acting
on the transmission.
Safety
features: Grab rails and steps at the rear
ensure operator mounts/dismounts well clear of
the crush zone.
Chassis:
Robust design combines high strength with light
weight. Heavy duty centre link gives 70 degrees
steering articulation and excellent chassis oscillation.
Machine lifting point mounted on the centre turret.
A centrally positioned integral drawbar fitted
as standard. ROPS and FOPS mounts are part of
the chassis design.
Operator
position: Good all round vision from the fully
upholstered suspension seat. Fitted with seat
belt. All controls are ergonomically placed to
allow comfortable operation.
Options:
ROPS (Roll over protective structure).
FOPS (Falling object protective structure).
Lighting Kit. Working lights (only with FOPS).
Flashing amber beacon. Dual brakes on the 4S2000
& 4S2500.
